Four leagues, one ladder
The Nations League brought competitive football to the international windows that used to be filled with friendlies. The 54 European national teams are split into four leagues by strength — A, B, C and D — and every edition moves teams up and down the ladder: group winners in Leagues B, C and D are promoted, the bottom teams are relegated, and in between there are play-offs. At the top, the best teams of League A play for the trophy. This site follows the Nations League 2026/27 edition from the first matchday to the Finals in June 2027; the 2026/27 format, calendar and live standings page explains the zones, dates and what is still at stake.
Built from the same data as the app
Nations League 27 is the website of the free app Nations Cup: Leagues & Finals. All tables, results and statistics come from the same data files: 766 match reports across 5 editions, 55 national teams, 1,347 players in the current squad pools and the stadiums of the Finals. When something is not decided — the Finals host or quarter-final pairings — it is shown as "to be confirmed".
Every edition since 2018/19
5 editions so far, 766 matches and 1,919 goals. Portugal has won the most titles (2); the most recent title went to Portugal in 2024/25. Each edition has a page with all groups of every league, final tables with promotion and relegation, the two-legged quarter-finals and play-offs, the Finals and the top scorers. The 2024/25 edition and its Finals in Germany and the archive of all Nations League seasons are good places to begin.
National teams and players
The pages of all 55 national teams show each team's path through the leagues — promotions, relegations, Finals — its all-time record, top scorers, coach and a 25-player squad pool built from recent line-ups. Every player of those squads has a player profile with Nations League numbers: matches, starts, goals, assists and cards since 2018/19, plus the price in the fantasy game.
Two free games for every matchday
The exact-score game for every Nations League match covers every match of the Nations League 2026/27: the remaining league-phase rounds in November 2026, the quarter-finals and promotion/relegation play-offs in March 2027 and the Finals in June 2027. Exact score 3 points, right winner and goal difference 2, right outcome 1. Nations League fantasy football is the second game: fifteen players, 100.0m, at most three from one country, a captain, transfers and one wildcard; each international window is a gameweek. Rankings are overall, by country, between countries and with friends. No money, only points.
Why the Nations League matters
The competition is more than a trophy. Final positions decide seeding for the qualifying draws of the next European Championship and World Cup, and the play-offs of World Cup qualifying have used Nations League results as a safety net for teams that miss out in their groups. A promotion from League C to League B, or survival in League A, changes the opponents a team will face for the next two years — which is why the last matchdays are often more dramatic than the table suggests.
Why read it here
On the site you can scroll through all fourteen group tables at once, compare seasons and read match reports with scorers and assists without installing anything; it is available in English, Spanish and Russian. One player account works on both the site and the app. Read where our numbers come from for the data sources and update schedule.
Below: quick facts, every edition in brief and the champions
The next sections summarise each edition, list the champions and show the upcoming matches that are open for predictions.
How to find your way around
The menu at the top leads to the main sections: the current tournament, national teams, players, history, the two games and their rules. Every team page links to its players, every player page back to his team, every edition to its matches and every match report to the edition, both teams and the previous and next match. Breadcrumbs at the top of each page show where you are, and the language switcher keeps you on the same page in English, Spanish or Russian wherever a translation exists — player profiles and match reports are in English, because names and scores read the same in every language.
Tables are scrollable sideways on small screens, all images load only when they come into view, and the whole site is readable without JavaScript. The only parts that need a script are the live game elements: the prediction boxes, your points and the leaderboards. They load directly from the game server, so what you see there is always current, even when the rest of the page shows the data of the last build.
